FREIGHT FACTORING

WHAT IS FREIGHT INVOICE FACTORING?

Freight invoice factoring is a financing instrument that supplies your company with up-front capital by factoring invoices. While this tool is not a small business loan, it does involve selling your company invoices at a discounted rate.

Most Factoring transactions are straightforward and completed in two phases. In most cases, CBRT Capital will finance the receivables by purchasing them in one phase.

Like most factoring providers, our services are not really a loan, and they are much easier to obtain. Financing is usually provided for small and midsize companies that need to improve their cash position.

HOW WILL CBRT CAPITAL WORK?

CBRT Capital will purchase accounts receivable from their clients at a small discount. The client gets immediate funds from the sale of their receivables, which solves their financial constraints. CBRT Capital now owns the receivables and will collect the invoices and be paid on their original terms.

The first installment is called the advance and is funded when the factor buys the carrier’s invoices. The advance usually covers 95% to 97% of the total invoice. Advances can vary depending on the risk profile of the transaction.
